Pembuatan Inovasi Kemasan Ramah Lingkungan untuk Produk Pangan Lokal

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan inovasi kemasan ramah lingkungan bagi produk pangan lokal melalui rangkaian kegiatan terstruktur yang berorientasi pada peningkatan kemampuan UMKM, pemanfaatan bahan yang dapat terurai, serta penerapan prinsip keberlanjutan dalam proses pengemasan. Pelaksanaan program mencakup analisis kebutuhan, pemberian materi mengenai konsep dasar kemasan berkelanjutan, pelatihan pembuatan kemasan berbahan alami, pendampingan dalam perancangan desain, dan pengujian prototipe pada produk pangan lokal. Melalui tahapan ini, peserta memperoleh pemahaman aplikatif mengenai peralihan dari penggunaan plastik konvensional ke arah kemasan yang lebih aman, fungsional, dan memiliki nilai tambah. Hasil kegiatan memperlihatkan bahwa pelaku UMKM mampu menerapkan teknik pembuatan kemasan sederhana menggunakan bahan lokal, menghasilkan prototipe dengan performa yang memadai, dan meningkatkan aspek visual untuk memperkuat strategi pemasaran. Uji penerapan menunjukkan bahwa kemasan ramah lingkungan tidak hanya berfungsi efektif dalam menjaga mutu produk, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap persepsi konsumen terhadap kualitas dan komitmen keberlanjutan produk. Selain itu, kegiatan ini meningkatkan kesadaran UMKM mengenai pentingnya praktik pengemasan berkelanjutan serta membuka kemungkinan replikasi program di wilayah lain. Secara umum, program ini berhasil memperkuat kemampuan UMKM dalam menjawab tantangan pasar yang semakin menuntut produk berwawasan lingkungan dan turut mendorong terbentuknya sistem pangan lokal yang lebih berkelanjutan.
