Pemanfaatan Virtual Reality untuk Edukasi Pencegahan Bahaya Narkoba

Penyalahgunaan narkoba pada remaja dan generasi muda merupakan permasalahan serius yang memerlukan pendekatan edukasi yang inovatif dan efektif. Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya virtual reality (VR), memberikan peluang baru dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap bahaya narkoba melalui pengalaman belajar yang imersif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berbasis VR dalam edukasi pencegahan bahaya narkoba serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui pelatihan dan simulasi VR kepada siswa dan masyarakat umum, dilengkapi dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan VR mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta, memperkuat pemahaman mengenai risiko penggunaan narkoba, serta mendorong perubahan sikap ke arah perilaku yang lebih sehat. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi ini. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan VR sebagai media edukasi memiliki potensi yang signifikan dalam mendukung program pencegahan narkoba secara lebih efektif, interaktif, dan berkelanjutan di masyarakat.
