Tren Penggunaan Slang di Kalangan Remaja di Platform Tiktok: Analisis Makna dan Penyebarannya

TikTok telah menjadi salah satu platform media sosial paling populer di kalangan remaja, menghadirkan fenomena linguistik baru dalam bentuk penggunaan slang yang terus berkembang. Fenomena penggunaan slang oleh remaja di TikTok mencerminkan dinamika perkembangan bahasa dalam konteks digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren penggunaan slang di kalangan remaja, menganalisis makna serta fungsi sosialnya, dan memahami mekanisme penyebarannya melalui platform TikTok. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh dari komentar, teks deskripsi, dan hashtag populer seperti #slangchallenge dan #genzslang. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengklasifikasikan slang berdasarkan jenisnya (kreasi baru, adaptasi, atau transformasi makna) dan mengeksplorasi peran TikTok sebagai medium penyebaran bahasa. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mengungkap bagaimana slang mencerminkan identitas budaya remaja, pola komunikasi, serta pengaruh teknologi terhadap perkembangan bahasa. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap studi sosiolinguistik dalam memahami hubungan antara media sosial dan evolusi bahasa di era digital.
