STATISTIC OF GJSL:
This issue of the Global Journal of Social Learning (GJSL) reaffirms the journal’s ongoing commitment to fostering critical scholarly discourse in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and education through a multidisciplinary lens. The eight original research articles featured in this edition were authored or co-authored by scholars from Indonesia and Malaysia, addressing empirically grounded themes that align closely with the journal’s aims and scope. The topics explored include an analysis of Levi-Strauss’s structuralism in the myth of Princess Mandalika, aesthetic values in cross-cultural song lyrics, musical memory in tembang kenangan performances, the preservation of local cultural heritage such as Peresean, and the dramaturgical strategies employed by Teater Koma to articulate social criticism during Indonesia’s New Order era. This thematic diversity not only highlights the richness of Southeast Asian academic perspectives but also offers a meaningful contribution to the advancement of interdisciplinary knowledge. As a peer-reviewed, open-access journal, GJSL ensures that all published content is freely available and downloadable to the global academic community, thereby promoting inclusive knowledge sharing and supporting the growth of multidisciplinary research.
